Oh by the way, a letter of intent is in fact a BIG DEAL! Research facilities located in educational institutions don't just take on a clinical drug trial for a $50 bill. They rely HEAVILY on donations from wealthy individuals, businesses and governments for their research grant money and want results. Without results they lose client funding. Look it up if you care. It is very risky for these institutions to take on drug trials that fail, so they are pretty damn sure that something has merit before they decide to move forward.
