And "Analgesic Use Over Time" -- if I'm interpreting the strange table correctly -- either didn't change or INCREASED.
And he certainly didn't meet MISTER Marineo's standard of near "zero" pain after the first treatment.
He did manage to demonstrate, nevertheless, courtesy of of "Mcnemar's test," that the calmare is definitely NOT inferior to sham therapy! Well, thank goodness for SMALL favors, huh?
Unfortunately, despite doing ALLEGEDLY 150 patients, third party reimbursers won't give a HOOT since the study is NOT randomized, blinded, and controlled.
But evidently, he's not too impressed with calmare (small wonder, huh!) since he started TWO other studies since last summer on OTHER treatments for chemo related pain:
