It’s time to stop pretending James O’Keefe is only evil, he’s also dangerous
This is James O'Keefe's mugshot, because, of course, he has a mugshot because he is a criminal.
Apparently there are some people somewhere who appreciate the “work” that scuzzy unattended porta-john James O’Keefe does; starting fires so he can stand back and say, “Hey look! A fire! Exclusive – must credit James O’Keefe.”
O’Keefe, who should rightfully be in prison living the life of a loner after the Aryan Nation threw his skinny white butt out for not being worth the trouble, is still able to scam people even dumber than SarahPAC contributors (proving it would take a bathysphere to find the muddy bottom of stupidity in America) to send him money to run his video scam operation.
I mean, Jesus, even Andrew Breibart cut ties with him. How messed up do you have to be for the late Breitbart to want nothing to do with you? “James O’Keefe-messed-up,” would be the answer to that if you’re taking notes at home.
It is worth noting that O’Keefe named his grifting empire Project Veritas [truth], which makes as much sense as calling a fracking company “Rainbow Starshine Tiny Kitten Recovery Service,” although, to be fair, fracking is considerably less toxic than O’Keefe.
His latest scam, — and the people who sent him money to fund this escapade should be really super super proud and tell all of their friends– was to try and get a cop killed in New York City because: racism. And Muslims. And truth. And something else, freedom probably.
According to two of his former staffers, he wanted one of them to attend a Black Lives Matter protest and incite someone to murder a cop, which is how “journalism O’Keefe style” works. According to one staffer, O’Keefe even dictated the script for his minion to use to which, to the guys credit even for someone dumb enough to get mixed up with O’Keefe, he said: “No fucking way.”
This sounds plausible and written by a person with a real ear for human speech:
As a minority and a Muslim, I know what it’s like when the police treat me unfairly. They have even searched my little daughter’s body. Can you believe that? Do you know what it’s like to have your rights violated because of the color of your skin or because of your name? -PAUSE-
Sometimes, I wish I could just kill some of these cops. Don’t you just wish we could have one of the cops right here in the middle of our group? -PAUSE-
What would you do if we could get Officer Pantoleo (who killed Eric Garner) right here in this crowd? What would you do to him?
Fade to black. A single shot in the dark, the sound of a body hitting the ground, a cry of “Allahu Akbar,” followed by some shrill ululating.
Fin.

I’m sure that O’Keefe will explain that they would never ever ever let any police officer actually get killed, because the real plan was to get someone — preferably someone of the dusky hue –on film threatening to kill a cop so that they would be arrested instead so, no harm, no foul, just a black guy, amirite?
And Jeebus knows no James O’Keefe production has ever gone sideways or badly for him in the past. What could possibly go wrong besides ending or ruining someone’s life, not his own?
Art and journalism can be messy that way in the pursuit of veritas…
