Probably made one last decision , bankruptcy, and then left. I talked with someone I know today who used to be on a board of a company that traded publicly. That company claimed bankruptcy also. I asked about the stock and he confirmed what someone else said. It just goes away. The company reorganized into another company and all the shareholders of the old company lost out.
