top 10 get picked in the odd way they are doing it this year, by calling 10 of the 12 up..

tonight's theme is song tracks from movies..

1- adanna- never heard the song before, but she did very good. while jaylo (judge) is about to fall out of her very open dress. i know the guys love that but its disrespectful to the kids and distracting.

2- daniel- the super young kid, was awful, sad to say.

3- rayvon- out of breath and way too slow for that song. i didnt like it.

4- nick, again too slow for the song he picked (danger zone from Top Gun). and those faces he makes when singing, its just odd. then he tried to make it hip hop, doing the old ape arm swing thing. yuck!

5- joey (the local girl from where i grew up in va nearby) who we didnt like at all, is calming down and starting to take this seriously. wow. it was very good imo.

6- tianna- YUCK! but the judges were way too nice.

jaylo got up to sing. i hate when the judges push their own agenda but i must say, it was nice and the cool thing they did, with her "real" dress, (vs the one that was falling off) was beautiful and mesmerizing. it had a long "train" all around her, with different colors moving all around it. (for those that didnt see it)

7- quintin- i loved it!!! and yet again, the judges thought just the opposite of my thoughts and didnt like it. go figure.

8- maddie- fun song but just did average.

OMG, then Kenny Loggins comes on. i love that guy but not seen him in many years. i was sad to see how old he looks (cause we are all aging that fast) and how old he sounded. hard to even recognize the voice, but fun song. (sorry, just keepin' it real here)

9- clark, my favorite to win the show-- best of the night imo.

10- jax (who got picked over qaasim) I liked her song a lot. she reminded me of norah jones (look her up if you dont know) with that soft jazzy sound she had.

so, per the rules, qaasim gets to "sing for the save" and he sings, i hated it, timing was way off, too slow, and he jumped around like an ape, like he does. swinging the arms, making the "im going to kill you" face, but the judges loved it and saved him. harry said its the best of the night? is he nuts? he is usually the one that gives the best opinion. oh well.

so, 11 vs 10 go though. there you have it.
