Effective Keywords for SEO Must Have a Long Tail

...to narrow down the number of searches for the keyword phrase and minimize a website's competition. It is a basic science that any internet marketing professional is aware of and just one of the many SEO tools available to drive traffic to a website.

For example, you would never only use keywords such as chocolate, fudge, etc. for GNGR because they are simply too broad (short tails) and have millions of searches and a website would find it hard to get in the top Google search results.

The same concept applies to any website and the key words in its source code. For example, ineffective keywords for SEO of an attorney's website would have short tails, such as:

law, laws, law firm, lawsuit, legal service, defense, etc.

The keywords listed above are as ineffective for SEO of an attorney's website as "fudge" or "chocolate" for GNGR. The keywords need to have long tails or be more specific.

It is good to read that Grant has hired a professional who understands SEO and can tailor use of these valuable tools specifically for use with Gunther Grant's products and services.
