Their MG technology is like fusion...fusion is always 20 years out, while their MG is always shipping 6 months from now.
Their PR today provided no information except that they made no sales at the truck show (which is very important information). They have been announcing they are currently taking orders for their MG and will be shipping product 6 months later since last summer. The target keeps moving. They said the truck show would include a demonstration of their product, but I can see no sign that that happened. The pics on the facebook page were all words. Would you buy any technology or give it much credit if the vendor was refusing to show you a picture of it. That wouldn't be enough for me I would want to see it in person. The showcase center was supposed to be just that.
I wonder if its their NASA culture showing through....meaning it doesn't matter if they are way over budget and years behind schedule. The only glimmer of hope is that when NASA does finally get something out it is very high quality.
I have been rationalizing this delay as a means from trying to shake off Spirit Bear. But if that was the case they wouldn't be putting out meaningless PRs to prop up interest. I have to wonder whether they are having manufacturing issues. And since everything is delayed by over a year (their alternator/generator and submersible pump products were supposed to have revenue the second half of FY14), any such issue if it exists is likely to be with their heat pipes as that is the only technology common to all three.

In an earlier PR they announced they were giving some demonstrations at their plant to potential customers this quarter. If sales do not result from customers seeing MG in action then I think it brings into serious question if their technology is what they are purporting it to be. We won't know the results from that demonstration until mid May.
