I know of no individual investors that like warrants. On the other hand, if we were permitted to get them, I think we would.

I don't know that it's true that as soon as they hit the threshold level they'll be purchased, and sold as stock. As I see it, they're an option to buy the stock at a fixed price for the duration of the option. If it cost you $.81 to make the purchase, regardless of when you make it, wouldn't you be tempted to hold once it's trading for $.81 or more.

Let's say you have 5 years to act. In that time at least two drugs could potentially be approved. The share price could easily be driven to double digits. You don't need to spend your $.81 cents until you want to. If it were me, I'd be watching the company news and purchase at times that I wished to sell at the current price of the stock. The key here is a lot of warrants could be exercised the last day they were eligible for purchase, and that could put a lot of stock into the market that day.

Hopefully the stock will be well above $1 before the first warrants expire, 18 months as I remember it. Why purchase and sell any sooner than that if the stock's selling for over $.81.
