Entitled repub christian son has learned his lesson well. Blame it on liberals for his drug problems.

AL Justice Roy Moore's Son Arrested On Drugs Charges For Third Time; Blames It On Liberal Plot

It seems that the son of Alabama's Chief Justice, Roy Moore, is as rebellious and wild as Chief Justice Moore is, but in a different way. The partying 24 year-old has been arrested for the third time (last Sunday) on drug related charges. He was taken to the city jail, and was released on bond of $8,500. But, you see, it's all just a liberal (or, maybe just a gay) plot to destroy his father and his family.
From The New Civil Rights Movement:

Reports indicate this is the third drug-related arrest for Caleb Moore, the 24-year old son of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore.
Moore "was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana," AL.com reports today. "Several Xanax pills also were found in the bag" of marijuana.

According to court documents, officers responded to the 1200 block of Allen Street in Troy to a report of an attempted home break-in. They found five men, including Moore, outside near a pickup truck that smelled strongly of marijuana.

In 2013 Caleb Moore pleaded guilty to drug-related charges, AL.com notes, and in 2011 "he was arrested and charged with drug possession and driving under the influence."

USA Today adds that Moore "has been charged with possession of marijuana in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony."

From JMG:
Several weeks ago I reported on Caleb Moore's social media posts, prompting him to say this to AL.com: "I've done nothing more than any other college kids. Because of who I am, it gets blown out of proportion. Since then I've got in a closer walk with the Lord. Whatever anyone says about me, it doesn't bother me. The people who know me and know what's true can really see what's going on here and see through critics of my dad."

This is Caleb Moore's third arrest on drug charges. As I noted in my first post about him, tax records appear to indicate that in 2012 he worked part-time for the virulently anti-gay Foundation For Moral Law, which was founded by his father and is now headed by his mother, Kayla Moore.

Per Alabama law, conviction on a Class C felony calls for this prison sentence: "No less than one year and one day and no more than 10 years."

My guess is that he will serve no time in prison.

From Raw Story:

Caleb Moore, the son of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore says that his arrest on Sunday for possession of marijuana and prescription tranquilizers is part of a liberal plot to bring down his father and “destroy” his family.
According to AL.com, the 24-year-old took to Facebook on Monday afternoon to decry the “crooked cops” who arrested him and to declare his innocence.

“This is nothing more than a prime example of how media and crooked police officers and critics of my dad try to not only destroy his career for what he stands for but will go as far as trying to destroy his family. I am not a drug user as the drug test taken today will show. As for the malicious possession charges, justice will be served," he wrote.

See there! It's all a vicious and malicious liberal plot.
From Towleroad:

Roy Moore, who is bringing his fight against gay marriage to Texas later this month, declined to comment saying his son's arrest was a personal matter.

Update 1:

AL.com has published a new article about the young man. From AL.com:

Caleb Moore, the 24-year-old son of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, admits he has struggled with drugs and alcohol in the past.
He also says that dealing with the pressure of having a controversial politician as father has been a struggle too.

Caleb Moore is back in the news after being arrested on Sunday, his seventh arrest in less than four years, including driving under the influence arrests in both Alabama and Florida, and three drug-related arrests in Baldwin, Pike and St. Clair counties in Alabama.

One of Moore's vocal critics, gay rights blogger Joe Jervis, expressed some sympathy for Caleb's continued troubles. "It's unfortunate," said Jervis, whose blog documented questionable social media posts by Caleb Moore. "I'm sorry for his troubles. I believe marijuana should be legal for everybody. The possible breaking and entering and Xanax, that's more troubling. I'm curious about the circumstances that led to the call. He appears to be a troubled young man and I feel sorry for him."

Jervis said the travails of the Moore family are being closely watched by gay rights advocates, who say the chief justice's reputation for moralizing means his family's moral character is up for scrutiny too.

"It's a case of the sins of the father being visited on the son," Jervis said. "The state's leading moralist has not kept his own house in order.
