The news now appears to be coming out of Guinea. What's interesting to me is that the absence of news by Kallo is almost certainly a political thing, I wouldn't be surprised if the governments of Guinea and Ghana asked for silence, particularly Guinea. President Conde now appears to be building credibility and his political image by pushing primary healthcare as a way to prevent or at least minimize further outbreaks of Ebola.

Kallo probably hare not able to release any news as Guinea wants to control it. The challenge of a company in Kallo's position, while shareholders suffer int eh dark the client demands that in order to move forward they must be silent publicly.

The way that Guinea is releasing news certainly suggests a measured PR Plan on the part of Guinea and they are only releasing information now that they know that they are moving forward with Kallo.

The naysayers will say that they committed 13 months ago but they didn't fully. And in any case, the outbreak of Ebola would have shelved all those plans. As I said before, Kallo offers primary healthcare not disaster relief. With the outbreak of Ebola all business halted pretty much and Guinea may have wanted to wait and see what they could get in terms of relief dollars, and they did get some.
