I'd be more than happy to work for a bank, a brokerage, or the SEC. It's pointless to demonize any of them. There are bad apples in any profession.

How come you avoided my example of the Madoff case and the role the SEC played in getting justice for the victims in that case. The SEC could have played just as fitting of role for BCIT shareholders, but they didn't.

Do you understand that the two have absolutely NOTHING in common?

The SEC could most certainly have handled the BCIT mess better, as could DTC, the MMs, and the brokerages.

But the bottom line is that Megas didn't report the hijacking when he should have. I might also add that most BCIT shareholders bought in the hope of profiting enormously from a short squeeze. They lost that bet. It's the risk you take.
