GE to Invest in Egypt Manufacturing CenterFriday 03/13/2015 09:55 AM ET - Dow Jones News
General Electric Co. is investing $200 million to build a manufacturing center in Egypt, and signed a contract to provide 46 turbines for the country. The energy company's manufacturing facility will be located in Suez and will focus on manufacturing products for industries such as renewables, power, and rail transportation. The project will create about 500 jobs in Egypt in the next few years, GE said, and will also provide training programs.
