would love to see the spin off of the retail chains and svu to be distribution alone. believe sal would be a good stand alone for citi store concept and it could be very competitive if they could get back to thier original concept of use toward low income groups again. no frills, just groceries. upper scale is nice to shop in but not for everyone. to many chains get bogged down in trying to reach everyone. i cant see the reason to sell something to someone if i cant make a profit and give equal value toward that service. isnt that whay albertsons died and so many companies went belly up. keep them seperated and standing on their own. the marketplace is not social services.
