I must admit that i didn't always believe this was so. Until i had a grandson who is of mixed race who is an incredibly bright, athletic kid who responds to every single "advantage" he is given. He doesn't have television, however, (his mother's choice) but he surprises me daily with the ability to integrate random ideas into a coherent reality. When a three year old calls me on the phone to ask me if it is true that all dinosaurs were not green and what would they have been and my answer is that they were likely "feathered" in many cases, i can only feel warm that i know the racist fuckers are wrong, dead wrong about their assumptions, too.
