my take on the show........
..
we are staring to gel some. i read my notes against your notes. we seem more aligned tonight...
first off, idol is doing things backwards. you find out WHO is top 12, this time around, vs top 12, then they sing for you later.
anyway...
1- sarina- ouch- sang off key imo.
2- rayvon- cant make out the words he sang, it was ok
3- daniel- the sweet young boy but, uh oh, he forgot the words and only did average.
4- maddie- she still looks nervous, blank look on her face and calculated vs feeling it. she even smiled at the end of a sad song. hmmm.
5- tyanna- i have a similar sentiment to you, in that, she struggled for breath, was flat, but her last note was strong at least. yet, the judges loved it.
6- nick- he makes some odd faces when he sings. i like his voice but hate the mousy fast vibrato. always have on men or women, but especially men. he was a little flat too, at times.
7- jax- there's that same quirky "dialect" that all the kids are singing now days. copying Adell, i think? and she messed up at the piano. not great but the judges loved it.
8- qaasim- he "beat boxed" and didnt really sing. jumped around like a monkey, and let his back up singers do all the work. his soft voice in the beginning was nice, the rest was NOT. very entertaining at least.
*** 9- clark- best of the night!!!!!! i got the goosies!! (goose bumps) just superb. i think he may take the prize. ***
10- joey, from va? really? i agree with you, why is she still there? she lives just one county north of me, where i grew up, and would love to root for her, but she is awful, yet quirky, and the country is all about odd and weird these days, so, who knows.
11- quentin- it was good but odd. why did he cry? man up you guys, please!!
12- adanna- the band was playing it way too slow, but she was good. but then she got hyper, again, and let it get away from her. like a toddler just going nuts, the judges had to remind her to control that energy. shew as off key when that happened.
skilz, thx for posting since no one else cares like they used to. you make it worth continuing on modding this, since drummer passed away too soon and his wife left ihub. but they will always remain as mods just the same.
