Also.....as you pointed out once, it never hurts to be able to recognize certain people who you might give more credence to their opinion, and some who you might dismiss.
Even the ones you *strongly* disagree with are valuable. If they are striking an emotional cord in you, maybe you are too "invested" in your relationship with your stock. It's always good to look at the other persons perspective, perhaps even ones you may tend to discount.

I think doing the work and trying to understand all things as it pertains to your stock, it's competitors is important. I don't know as much as I should, but I keep trying to know.

I'm currently holding GILD and ENTA in the HCV space and I am in the RED with both. I'm not overly concerned since it isn't by a huge percentage, and because (I tell myself) that I know something about what I own, the competitors, the HCV market space, etc.
I'm not *that* worried, even as ENTA stalls or drops.

GILD, ABBVIE and ENTA all have quarterly reports in the next 6-8 weeks and I believe they will all report record HCV income and record profits. I have trouble believing share prices will drop. Since these may all be artificially low, and have been consolidating for a while, I think it may be like the beach ball that gets released that has been held underwater.

LOL: we will soon see. : )

(And since this is the ENTA board).....
I keep trying to understand what a depressed share price will do IF and WHEN a few nuggets of positive data are released;

1) Success in 2nd gen HCV program
2) Efficacy of ENTA NS5A disclosure.
3) Announcement of clinical work on Cyclophillin, Nuke, NASH compounds.
4) Higher than anticipated patients/prescriptions/ treatment deals w/ VA, medicare, prisons, governments

I have a feeling there will be several disclosures coming, either with the ABBV or ENTA quarterly ER, or the spring EASL Meeting (liver conference).

I like ENTA at this price too, but I have already spent all my lunch money. : )
