Yesterdays front page article in the Wall Street Journal pretty much sums up the debacle of Jeff Immelt's failed tenure as CEO of GE. GE share price continues its long losing streak under Immelt - down 35% since he took over from Jack Welch in 2001, and a far cry from the $60 share price of one time long ago. Not to mention selling off 60% of the businesses Jack Welch assembled which at one point made GE the greatest publicly traded company in the world. What a debacle ... an absolute disgrace.
