What's the advantage of keeping investors uninformed?

There must be some reason that Yates always delays until the very last minute to tell investors how PLSB has been doing.

The recent 8K implied that PLSB already knows its 2014 results.

Typically, companies with good news report quickly. Those with bad news delay as long as possible.

I wonder what Yates' reason is?
