That's what I figured. There is no magic solution for treating ores that does away with the tailings problem. I suppose if it is a fully permitted minesite, and they can dewater the tailings, that helps. But, it doesn't do away with permits, and it doesn't do away with the tailings issue. And it doesn't seem to be what is shown in the Youtube video of the Aguila facility.

And yes, unless there is free gold or sulfide concentrate (which requires additional processing), using water alone won't work. Not that it matters, an APP is still required regardless of what chemicals are, or are not, used.
