A lot of the chips are in really nice designs.

But there are really really cheap designs as well:
All this 16GB EMMC & 1GB RAM & Win8.1 tablets are ugly as hell.
They smell because they are not usable. For e.g.

Dragon Touch I8
I am sure a big number of the 40mio are going into this direction.
