you really should READ what you posted REAL SLOW!!!
nothing is debunked as you say........the letter is from a cry baby, an opinion only, trying to get his way by lying about how trades are reported.
Not looking at the real issue of MM's shorting amid riskless trades cloud.
When they ARE NOT representing retail sale orders from longs then they are outright shorting, which they are allowed to do. This Jess guy is trying to say that the majority of short sales are "riskless trades" and FINRA is having nothing to do it. They know what's happening and that's why they report shorts sales the way they do!!!!!!!!!!!!
