2nd Inquiry about MPT isn't licensed…

You Inquired:

And where is the $2.1 million in revenue coming from as MPT isn't licensed to cultivate hemp or marijuana.

Michigan Plant Technologies (MPT) is going to generate the bulk of the $2.1 million ($1.9M) of Income for IJJP from the nearly $12 Million ($11,375,000) of Income generated from the charging of services that MPT will charge to the Caregivers of which whom are licensed along/through their Patients that are licensed/authorized users of medical marijuana. The MPT operations is fully compliant with the current “Caregiver” model in Michigan and currently services ”licensed patients” in the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP) as I had previously posted. For inquiring minds, the MMMP is a state registry program within the Health Professions Licensing Division in the Bureau of Health Care Services at the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). The program administers the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act as approved by Michigan voters on November 4, 2008. The program implements the statutory tenets of this act in such a manner that protects the public and assures the confidentiality of its participants:

Through Green Science Inc., they already have… a fully licensed food processing facility and has all of the permits and licenses required to expand into the use of grow containers as indicated below:

Green Science Inc. is an independent consulting company that can assist in a full range of services including product development, design/build - application to production, zoning & municipal approvals, third party certification and testing services. The current Green Science facility is a fully licensed food processing facility and has all of the permits and licenses required to expand into the use of grow containers. The facility is fully compliant with the current “Caregiver” model in Michigan and currently services patients in the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program. ...

The above piece is important because it confirms that they are already operational as it stated that… The facility is fully compliant with the current “Caregiver” model in Michigan and currently services patients in the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program.

For inquiring minds, let’s further elaborate about how MPT is going to generate the nearly $12 Million ($11,375,000) of Income from their operations under the MMMP for the state of Michigan. Here’s how… the law requires a Caregiver to have no more than 5 patients of which each patient can have no more than 12 marijuana plants. MPT will have a ”large group” of ”Caregivers” of which they will be providing services for through many containers and trailers through their Hydroponic farm facility as stated below:

MPT uses cargo containers and truck trailers to create safe and predictable growing environments for herbs, lettuces, and a variety of crops and is committed to growing the highest value produce possible. MPT has been focused on indoor growing systems since 2010, conceived as an extension to the kitchen skills and food pantry programs, MPT has a core mission to create opportunities for persons with employment challenges in the Greater Chicago Foodshed and beyond.
