Michigan Plant Technologies (MPT) being created on 11/25/2014 is not an issue. For those with concerns about MPT registering as a legit entity to be created the same day that the court order was signed on 11/25/2014 by the judge… such is ”officially” “not” an issue. I have ”officially” verified that such is ”not” an issue. I called and spoke to the Department of Treasury of Michigan at 517-373-3200 and I also spoke to the Sales, Use, and Withholding Section. I was informed that what they did was fine. I was informed that you do not have to file to register your business before you are actually operational. As long as the company files to register their business sometime afterwards, preferably sometime before the end of the current tax season, then such is fine. When I explained to them what MPT had done to register, they said that they were fine.
