Got almost 8 hrs in. Heres what all I did today. I started by filling up our portable water tank on a trailer which took almost an hour first thing this morning while it was only 7 degrees. While it was filling up I tried to jump start the van because the battery was dead and ended up putting it on the charger so it could charge all day. Then replaced the lock mechanism on the back door of the van. I picked it up yesterday when I was out and about sothe part was already at the shop. Then I took the water tank and trailer to the job and dropped it off. Helped the tile guys get their water buckets filled before I took off. Then went to Home Depot and picked up 54 sheets of 5/8 inch plywood. Then took it to the job and we put it inside the bldg.I gave the project manager a ride back to the shop from there and picked up 5 propane tanks and put them in my truck. Then went to the next job and helped the superintendent there put some big heavy condensing units into our box truck. Picked up a piece of fire treated glass that cost almost $900 then my boss called about picking up some trim pieces. I said I could go get them.So I headed over to pick up the trim. They didn't have any paperwork on an order for us. I called my boss he said he hadn't placed the order yet, he didn't think Id be there that quick. He was waiting to hear from the project manager before he placed the order. I waited for a few minutes and he called and said don't worry about it we will get it Monday. I left and went to get the propane tanks filled up at a local Uhaul place. Got them all filled and took them to the first job I stated at this morning. Unloaded them and took them into the bldg. We are using the propane to heat the bldg. with until we get the furnace installed and stuff. Then I went back to the shop and tried to start the van since the charger was on it for a few hours. It wouldn't start. I tried to jump start it with the pickup truck and finally got it started. I let it run for awhile to charge it up. While it was running I worked on making a snow plow out of a pallet we had. I plow the parking lot at the shop using a pallet and our fofklift. My last pallet worked for 2 years bat has taken a beating so I made a new one. Got that done and took the van over to autozone to have them test the battery for us. I had to wait forever but finally got it tested. It was bad and it was still under warranty so they replaced it for free. I took the van back to the shop and was all done for the day.
