Sad - if no NCE, no point of completing R-It - generics will try to flood the market with generic V ahead of completion date.

No they won't - you're forgetting about the 40 patents protecting V until 2023-2030. AMRN will have to go to court, of course, but they should prevail in preventing generic competition way past R-IT completion.
