Yes, the point is if one is concerned about the cost to tax payers for legal process then what about the costs to house a prisoner in an over crowded penal system which must release violet offenders to make room for others. Corporate entities such as banks want their money back and are entitled to get it back. Does a bank that is not a person care about additional penalities. First time offenders usually pay restitution, court costs and if a threat to society will be incarcerated if not probation. The court has guidelines depending upon amount of fraud and number of victims, cooperation of defendant, etc. Nano Tech's future has nothing to do with the past personal problems of one of its former officers yet it is continuously brought up to show that that this company is a scam.
