You are correct but knowing going forward they would easily outgrow the restrictions they should not have delayed applying for the zoning amendment. This is a new business and the stated amounts even if the facility grew into the production, are enormous and likely not attainable on that site. The infrastructure does not exist in that area. There is no power, water, sewage, capable of providing the needs of such an operation. The company as I mentioned earlier did recognize this fact and provided a deficient application for the amendment in July. The permit was granted for a pole barn, nothing more. You can read the permits. Nothing in the bylaws would have prevented such a structure. As Bill said if the town cannot provide the water we need we will truck it in. Even they recognized the needs for that site would not be met by the existing utitilities - utilities not meant for a large processing facility - large processing facilities are not intended for that site. The zoning amendment did two things - it sets out where medical mj facilities can be located and two, it reinforces the fact the town is well within their rights to turn down any such zoning amendment application to prohibit a large manufacturing plant from locating there. There are other more suitably zoned sites for such an endeavour and the fact remains Bills cousins is profiting handsomely from the rent with nothing being produced.
Not being a punk at all. When this issue was being discussed in April it was long investors who repeated the mantra "Bill said zoning is not an issue" over and over. They were wrong, we were correct, zoning was, and remains an issue and when I and others reaffirmed that was not the case they threw up their hands and stated "why are we still discussing a non-issue-Bill says blah blah blah". Well Bill was and is wrong. If the infrastructure is there why the porta potty outside the second building? Why the electrical generators?
