11% energy in... let's see... how do you get to 100% from 11%... you multiple by 9. The difference between this tower and say a dam or solar farm is it can't generate any electricity without you putting energy into it first.

A dam you just build it... and it generates electricity. A solar farm... you just build it and it generates electricity.

In the case of the tower you build it. And it sits there until you start pumping up the water... so it costs you energy to just turn it on. That is where the 900% (i.e. multiple by 9 comes from).
