it has been essentially flat for a few years now...think vacuum cleaners (replace when the old one breaks)


This, my friend, is also going to happen to mobile phones and sooner than you think. Already today, the amount of innovation from one generation to the next isn't reason enough to upgrade. And no, US provider subsidies are not the model of the rest of the world.

With tablets, it already happened. I believe PCs will outgrow them this year.
