That seems to be the part of all this no one from SWET wants to talk about.
All anyone wants to see, the basic system energy conservation calculations. But apparently SWET have convinced some that this is far too complicated for anyone to understand yet somehow, not so complicated you can't find a programmer to write you a perl script that does this.
They mistake what programs do. For some reason they believe that computer programs do the impossible. Whereas, the reality is that the computer program merely does the possible, very very fast.
You don't need a computer to solve this problem. You need the computer only to solve it in 300ms as apposed to working it out by hand in a hour.
Those weather models we hear so much about, someone wrote those too. Why? Not because working the problem out by hand was impossible, but because working it out by hand wouldn't be fast enough to get it on the 6 o'clock news. If a computer can calculate it, a human can calculate it. After all, who told the computer what to do? This is not SkyNet.
