Some key "mathematical" factors that you are missing
1. The shape of the tower is hyperbolic
2. When the water is absorbed it turned into wind (which is constant 24/7/365, which creates a constant downward pressure)
3. At the base of the tower the wind MUST ESCAPE.
4. The tunnels at the base are fairly small openings (relative to the tower) do the pressure becomes even greater. (Simple math on yours or my computer couldn't posdibly do this with out proprietary info).
5. As the diverts through the tunnel there are 2 sets of "hydraulic turbines" that are one if front of another. The first one can only capture ~60% of the winds energy and since there will be 40% of the wind energy behind that blade the second turbine could only capture a maximum of ~60% of the energy left. BETS LAW. So a maximum of 80% of the winds energy can be extrapolated.
6. So there is a difference in energy from water to wind ESPECIALLY when you apply constant pressure.
7. VELOCITY and PRESSURE are the huge factors that no one on this board could possibly know because the company has that information and equations under a "lock and key"
8. This is going to CREATE a ton of electricity.
9. As for the water pumping issue. Yes it will cost a lot to pump the water, but remember this is CREATING more energy so the net impact on the tower is ~11 percent (I think I read that somewhere). But remember this tower is projected to have ~400 megawatts sellable to the grid 24/7/365 which means with the ~11% already taken out of that. It's at least ~40 megawatts 24/7/365 to pump the water. That is an astronomical amount of electricity to pump the water. But Swet is producing and even more astronomical amount of electricity
10. If this doesn't help anyone actually understand thd full picture then I don't know what else to say
