Tell that to the DOD. I'm sure they've got lots of equations that they have developed for building stuff like nuclear weapons. Why don't they just make them public domain? After all it's just physics.

I don't know what we're paying them for. After all, anybody with a few simple multiplication problems can do the same thing.
