Don't mean to nit-pick but you seem to contradict yourself.

First you state

She said workers don't know anything regarding to merger.



Then you state

She also said "we will know definitely in two days.



So if they don't know anything how do they know they will know in two days?

Personally I don't believe a merger will happen.
