Not sure if that is enough, but I heard cooper used as an indicator of general economic output, especially new construction. It seems it recovers from sharp dips (scares) nicely... And JJC tracks nicely.
I you look at the past 20 years, it seems it's coming down from a bubble, so I'm so sure high much higher it can go...
