Oh, wow! Yet ANOTHER "pilot study"! Big round of "slow clapping" for THAT!

Say what -- "First received: March 30, 2011"? Taking his sweet time about it!

And "Estimated Primary Completion Date: December 2014"? So we ought to here some results pretty soon, huh? Pardon me if I don't hold my breath!

Not that it matters to CTTC, anyway, since it's an "Open Label" trial, about which third party reimbursers don't give a hoot!

And you have to wonder if the results were really any good anyway:

a REAL study

So nine MONTHS ago -- three YEARS into his calmare "trial" -- Loprinzi starts a study to determine the effectiveness of pregabalin -- an anti-convulsant -- on neuropathic pain due to chemo? Gee! Guess old calmare wasn't getting those 90 plus per cent success rates that MISTER Marineo was getting, huh?

And look! That one is an honest to gosh blinded, randomized, and controlled trial! Of course, that means that if it's successful, third party reinsurers will actually consider it WORTHWHILE in making in making decisions whether to pay for it!
