I have not yet read the announcement yet but I found the discussion of ph2 trials in Jim Czirr's redchip video to be very encouraging. It sounds to me as though the FDA will be watching the portal hypertension (wedge pressure) results very closely. I may be out of my area of expertise here, but I don't consider it out of the realm of possibility for the FDA to pull out all the stops to get this through to approval as quickly as possible (assuming results are what we all think they might be). NASH is becoming a huge problem in the US and the world. I read some liver disease support websites and it's crazy how common this is becoming. Sad thing is, folks don't even know they have it until it's really late in the game.
