BioNitrogen Close to Decision on $300M Fertilizer Plant

Florida-based BioNitrogen is close to reaching a final investment decision on a $300 million biomass gasification facility in Reading, PA, Lehigh Valley Business reported. BioNitrogen is reportedly close to establishing a formal agreement with the city’s Redevelopment Authority (RRA), which is considering the company’s plan to buy a 50-acre parcel of land for siting a plant that would convert solid waste biomass into urea fertilizer.
