Vale currently sends its monster ships to africa where cargo is transferred to smaller ships acceptable to china and in some cases china has probably demanded the chinese owned shipline be used-though this is the 1st time i've seen that
but since the seaborne trade is ALREADY focused on china- China will not import more ore due to the change in shipping method- in fact such change would make it more negative for China to import ore from Vale
China may import more ore from Vale for OTHER reasons
as Chinese imports are growing partly because the big iron producers price war has caused some Chinese mines to shutdown or produce less
and caused other competitors to get out or cease the china seaborne trade as CLF announced it was doing-
but we dont hear about those relevant things from certain quarters because those things are positive for CWRN
