Yes, for Pennyland there are in fact "legitimate" companies, albeit none of them are worth very much, dillute constantly, but that's the gamble. They may be legitimately bad companiez, but thats why their in Pennyland. You try to take the money thats left on the table before the dillution happens. Everything revolves around hype and dillution.
