SUV falls 60 feet off bridge and lands upright; 2 women OK

HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say an SUV has fallen 60 feet off a New Jersey bridge and landed upright, and the two occupants suffered only minor injuries.
The Toyota Rav4 was headed east on Interstate 80 when the accident occurred at around 7:15 a.m. Friday in Hackensack.
State police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn tells The Record newspaper that the SUV landed upright beneath the Hackensack River bridge.
Firefighters rescued the women in the SUV. Police say they were taken to a hospital complaining of neck and back pain.
State police are investigating how the SUV fell off the bridge.
The SUV missed falling in the river by about 40 feet.
