How big is the turbine blade on the right?
"The blade on the right is 400 mm long and establishes the world record for length of blades produced with these materials regardless of the process used."
I wonder if that's a "rough" estimate. The build envelope of the Q20 is Ø350×380 mm. Would it be made off vertical?
I can understand the possibility of FastEBM coming to market before HiResEBM. The overall weight savings for this type of product would be huge.
