Your charting application should show the same path for the 100 day moving average (MA.) Some chart applications may zoom in on the price per share (pps) making the price on the y-axis different and making the MA to have a different path.

Example:

6-month chart shows $0-$50 price range on the y-axis. The 100 MA moves up from $10-$13 in a line along the chart. The MA would appear to be moving on the bottom of the chart.

A 10-day chart shows $5-$20 price range on the y-axis for the same ticker. The 100 MA moves up from $10-$13 in a line along the chart. The MA would appear to be moving in the middle of the chart perhaps with only with the $13 portion of the MA showing.

If I ever found a charting application to have the 100 MA not following along the same pps trajectory then I'd stop using it.
