IMO the two biggest take home points from this PR are as follows:

From about 2/3 the way through the 3rd paragraph:

The recent results from USAMRIID compel Hemispherx to move forward its experimental therapeutic Ampligen(R) in the fight against this dread disease plaguing West Africa and to continue to work diligently with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other international organizations committed to the effort to mitigate the ongoing morbidity and mortality of Ebola.

And from the last sentence before the break into the "about Ampligen" description:

Hemispherx' Tom Equels states, "Absent an effective therapeutic, this disease is here to stay. Working together, governments, medical scientists and the pharmaceutical industry can win the fight against Ebola."

HEB may have something effective against Ebola,.... but they need to get it moved forward into testing pronto if they want to have an impact and leave a significant footprint on the market in preparation for the inevitable "next" Ebola outbreak.
