The exact opposite is true. Instead of getting toxic funding they refused all offers and held fast until they could get the filings up to date. I would suggest instead of guessing, you take note of what is going on. I full faith in this company because I have made it my business to find out what is going on by picking up the phone, holding meeting with them and knowing what they are all about.

In order to run a pump and dump you have to dump, no one within the company has sold any shares, in fact they have been buying.
