Well, when the messenger first delivers MEDIOCRE data to Dr. Becker and THEN delivers MIRACULOUS data to a nursing conference and THEN publishes suddenly "reasonable" good data in a journal DESPITE violating MISTER Marieno's "protocol" practically from beginning to end, then heck yeah! In fact, don't take "pot shots" -- aim for the HEAD!
Oh, look! I just noticed that apparently the trial was NOT totally blinded! Re-reading it suggests that the therapist KNEW who was getting the "therapeutic" dose and who wasn't! And given that the therapist MUST have been the "new addition" -- "Patrick Coyne"! Patrick, of course, was a BIG help to Dr. Smith in preparing HIS trial -- when was that, four or five YEARS ago? And NOW he shows up to help MS. Starkweather! What a coincidence, huh?
"...considered by physicians and groups like insurers..."??? And they will all likely laugh since practically all of them know enough neurophysiology to recognize a QUACK medical device when they see it!
