Lasers, so by releasing the co drug naloxone to help in constipation is this basically a "controlled" form of withdrawal or does the naloxone bind to only the mu receptors in the GI tract helping with the smooth muscle movement needed to aid in the relief of constipation?
It doesn't seem like there would be a significant amount of oxycodone avaliable for a chronic pain management patient unless the naloxone only targeted the mu receptors GI tract. It doesn't seem like a medication I would want to use.
