Very nice post Billjet17. I find your perspective on the lithium business very insightful and informed, but just a little biased but not totally one sided. I am hoping that WLC will get this experimental plant rolling with a little usable product for BMW to test. Apparently they have come to an agreement with Bavarian to experiment with some of the processed lithium (Western Lithium) has come up with in their German facility. If the experimental battery material works according to specifications they may not need Tesla. In fact, they could just go right to BMW, Porsche, Volkswagen, and a number of others. Well...here's hoping. But Billyjet don't count Orocobre out of the mix. They are producing for Toyota currently and the Japanese apparently are happy with the government in Argentina and their management of the mining industry. In fact the Japanese government and a few Asian hedge funds are forgiving bond debt owed by Argentina in return for 'fair and unfettered' gov't. oversight of the lithium mining operations in that country. That's a very positive sign. In fact...I hope Jay looks at the possibilities of working with Orocobre in the future to get access to Toyota, being the biggest auto manufacturer in the world.
