When it comes to mREITs they are all performing basically as expected which is horrible in this market.

The bottomline is that the difference between the fed lending rate and the mortgage, treasury rates are killing the profit margin because of the squeeze.

This is essentially the same thing that is happening to the big banks.

However, the good news is that once the spread stops tightening the profits will increase overnight for the mREITs and the banks. So although the mREITs look horrible now this might very well be the bottom for them profit wise.
