I seriously doubt any new "satellite imaging" was done. There are publicly available satellite images available which can be useful in mineral exploration. And relatively cheap to do so, given that the images are readily available.

However, there is no evidence that the Ukranian geniuses did anything whatsoever. No report, nothing but vague PR's about identifying 70+ "anomalies". Any first-year geology student could do the same.
