Usually in class action cases an atty or group of atty's will take it on pro bono, if they see a big enough pay off for winning and if there are enough plaintiffs to participate.

It's like the case when Chevrolet was sued for the 80's model trucks with saddle bag gas tanks that caused many burning deaths in accidents. All owners of those type trucks received letters and all they had to do was opt out if they did not want to participate. Otherwise all registered owners ultimately received a credit toward the purchase of a new vehicle to the tune of about $500.

I was also in one against an employer over pay issues and we were compensated up to three years back and some received $20-30,000 depending on their hourly rate and how much of the three years they were part of.

So if we can do this it should not cost us but realize the atty's are the ones that get rich if we get anything at all.
